The Form 1099-Misc reports certain types of payments made during the tax year to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Willing Beauty will send a copy of the Form 1099-Misc to the recipient and the IRS. For additional information concerning the Form 1099-Misc, consult your tax professional or visit the Internal Revenue Service’s website, http://www.irs.gov.

Beauty Advisors who earned $600 or more in commission payments, incentive bonuses or awards during the previous calendar year and/or have obtained 5,000 PV (Personal Volume) or more of Willing Beauty products at wholesale price will receive a Form 1099-Misc. If a Beauty Advisor purchased $5,000 or more of products at wholesale price, Box 9 on the 1099 will be checked.

The total dollar amount of products that were purchased at wholesale price will not appear on the 1099. Beauty Advisors are responsible for determining and reporting their PV totals to the IRS. Determining the amount of PV can be done through Willing Beauty Central (Back Office) under Commissions > My PV. For additional information, consult your tax professional or visit the Internal Revenue Service’s website, http://www.irs.gov.

Beauty Advisors who did not meet the minimum requirements to receive a Form 1099-Misc are still required to report earnings to the IRS and should consult a tax professional for assistance.

All 1099-Misc forms will be postmarked and mailed by the U.S. Postal Service on or before January 31 in accordance with IRS regulations.

The 1099-Misc forms will be issued to the name and tax ID number on file in Willing Beauty Central as of early January in the current year. We encourage all Beauty Advisors to review the information in their Willing Beauty Central to ensure accuracy and make appropriate changes when needed. Updates to accounts should be done by contacting CGSupport at CGSupport@WillingBeauty.com.

Beauty Advisors can access their commission summary through Willing Beauty Central.

  • Log into Willing Beauty Central (Back Office) and hover over Commissions > Commissions.
  • On your Commission Summary page, you will see a drop-down field called Current Commissions. Select the date range from the drop-down menu. Your commission summary will appear below in a table.
  • You will not be able to generate one commission summary report for the entire year. To determine your commissions for the entire year, you will need to generate a commission summary report for each monthly and weekly period individually, then add them together.

You can access your order summary through Willing Beauty Central, allowing you to calculate your YTD purchases.

  • Log into your Designer Back Office and hover over Commissions and select My PV.
  • To determine YTD purchases, you will need to add your Designer wholesale orders together individually.

Founding Partners should be fully focused on Willing Beauty. All Beauty Advisors who achieve Founding Partner status will be required to agree to build a downline team and operate their direct sales business only with Willing Beauty. If a Beauty Advisor who achieves Founding Partner status chooses to build a team and operate a direct sales business with another direct sales company on or after March 1, 2018, including another Origami Owl Family of Brands business, such Beauty Advisor will forfeit the Founding Partner title and privileges.

We have an agreement with the State, County, and City jurisdictions to collect sales tax based on the suggested retail price.  Any sales tax amounts collected by Willing Beauty are remitted, on behalf of the Beauty Advisors, to the respective State, City, and County taxing jurisdictions. If we did not charge sales tax on the full retail price, the Beauty Advisor would be required to register for a sales tax license for the State, County, and City jurisdictions she resells product in. We take care of all the record keeping and sales tax remittance for you!

Advancement Bonuses are awarded to Beauty Advisors starting at the Career Title of Team Leader. To qualify, Beauty Advisors must meet the title requirements for the first time and are awarded after qualifying two (2) consecutive months at the new Career Title (if accomplished within 12 months of earning the new title for the first time).

To qualify, Independent Beauty Advisors must achieve the new Paid-As title for the first time and are awarded after achieving the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months (if accomplished within 12 months of earning the new title for the first time).

To become a Team Leader, Beauty Advisors must generate 250 PV (Personal Volume), have three (3) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team and generate at least 1,500 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. The first time a Beauty Advisor reaches this title, they will earn a $50 bonus.

Any advancements to the Career Title of Senior Team Leader or above must be maintained for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, to receive the Advancement Bonus for that rank. If the Paid-as title is not held for at least two (2) consecutive months within the 12-month period, the Advancement Bonus is forfeited and cannot be earned later.

To become a Senior Team Leader, Beauty Advisors must generate 250 PV (Personal Volume), have four (4) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team and generate at least 2,500 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive $75.

To become an Executive Team Leader, Beauty Advisors must generate 250 PV (Personal Volume), have four (4) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have one (1) Direct Team Leader, have one (1) Total Team Leaders and generate at least 5,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive $100.

To become a Team Manager, Beauty Advisors must generate 500 PV (Personal Volume), have five (5) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have two (2) Direct Team Leaders, have three (3) Total Team Leaders and generate at least 10,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive a $250 bonus.

To become a Senior Team Manager, Beauty Advisors must generate 500 PV (Personal Volume), have five (5) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have three (3) Direct Team Leaders, have four (4) Total Team Leaders and generate at least 15,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive $350.

To become an Executive Team Manager, Beauty Advisors must generate 500 PV (Personal Volume), have five (5) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have four (4) Direct Team Leaders, have six (6) Total Team Leaders and generate at least 30,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will earn a $500 bonus.

To become a Director, Beauty Advisors must generate 500 PV (Personal Volume), have seven (7) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have five (5) Direct Team Leaders, have eight (8) Total Team Leaders and generate at least 50,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive $750.

To become a Senior Director, Beauty Advisors must generate 500 PV (Personal Volume), have eight (8) Personally Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have seven (7) Direct Team Leaders, have 15 Total Team Leaders and generate at least 100,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive a $1,000 bonus.

To become an Executive Director, Beauty Advisors must generate 500 PV (Personal Volume), have nine (9) Personally Sponsored Qualified Beauty Advisors in their Team, have nine (9) Direct Team Leaders, have 30 Total Team Leaders and generate at least 250,000 TV (Team Volume) within one (1) calendar month. When the Beauty Advisor has maintained the Paid-As title for two (2) consecutive months, within a 12-month period, they will receive a $2,500 bonus.
